Finding your way to camp
Outpost sits on the Kitirua Conservancy, on the western edge of Amboseli National Park, with Kilimanjaro on the horizon. Most guests fly in, though the drive is a journey of its own. Once you’ve booked, our team is in touch to confirm your arrival plan and transfer times.
By Air
Scheduled flights depart Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for Amboseli Airstrip (ASV) most mornings, a flight of around 40 minutes. Our team meets every arrival and drives you the 25 minutes onto the conservancy.
By Road
A private transfer from Nairobi takes roughly 4–5 hours via Namanga or Emali, the last stretch on conservancy track. Self-drive guests should use a 4x4 — we’ll send GPS coordinates and a route sheet ahead of arrival.
